Hard to Be God Review Essay Example

Hard to Be God Review Paper Essay on Hard to Be God Good day to you, . (the young, the old, the young, 32-year-old, and the like, to be inserted) listener. Today I will talk about one of the works of the Strugatsky brothers. A lot of people (yes, really many) are advised to begin his acquaintance with the works of the greatest Russian fiction from that work. I began to let them completely different books, support them. This book is clear to all, even the most stupid. This is not a Snail on the Slope and not over billions of years before the end of the world. But this is the value of the book. It is simple and complex at the same time. Its like The Master and Margarita, you can re-read again and again, each time discovering something that was not available before. This is a very banal words, but they most accurately describe the artistic value of the book. In this simplicity and their genius is, in my opinion. It is very difficult to apply a complex (sorry for the pun) in simple words. It is much easier to apply complex tricky phrases truths and superficial conclusions, as do many popular contemporaries, but we digress the reader, forward! As I said above, this book can dig and dig. Can someone dug deeper than me, Ill catch up with you sometime:) Now, at this point in time, I see this book as the story of mans struggle with himself. It is difficult to give a definition of the concept of humanity. Maybe its the ability to sympathize and empathize? Or the ability to yield to his principles for the sake of something that you will never see? Maybe it the ability to think, not to think, and to tear the universe, when you take away the love forever I do not know. Maybe you can give a more precise definition? This book is stunning in its humanity. She unashamedly shows us our faults, weaknesses. It forces to be stronger. Bright, really bright and very zhivie characters do not say philosophical speech before his death. People do as they should. That is why this book is very similar to the real life. Too many factors. Too many people live with their ideas and cockroaches in their heads. And our hero shows how difficult it is to be human. Live person Conclusion:. Reading. Be sure to read.

Death and Dying essays

Death and Dying essays Death and Dying, Losing a Grandparent The death of a grandparent is a devastating time in a persons life. However, when the grandparent contracts a fatal disease and suffers for the duration of the final stage of life, this can make the situation more overwhelming. Dying is a component of the life cycle (Santrock 1999), and this phase can be the most complex to endure. At the concluding stage of my grandfathers life, he became dependent. We could only watch helplessly as he dwindled away. One thing that comes natural is to reflect upon the memories, comprehend what is taking place in the life cycle, and to treasure the memories that will be with me forever. One of the earliest memories that I have is as a very young boy. I was about three or four years of age. My Grandfather had a large family and always drove a station wagon. Station wagons in those days are the equivalent to the Sports Utility Vehicles of today. I do not know why I can remember this story so well, but it stands out in my mind. My mother gave birth to the first grandchild, who was I. In the sixties, most large families planted gardens, and raised their own livestock, in order to feed their families. There was a man who lived down the road from where my grandfather lived. This man raised chickens. One morning, my grandfather and I drove down the road to the neighbors house to purchase eggs. The neighbor I am referring to owned the property, which my grandparents lived on. Farm fresh eggs are not the same as the eggs we purchase in our neighborhood grocery stores. The eggshell is brownish in color, and when the eggs are cooked, they appear to have a da rk yellowish appearance. This is a reflection of the simpler times, which may or may not be the good ole days. We did not have many of the amenities that we enjoy today. We did not have indoor plumbing. We had an outhouse that I was petrified to utilize. That is ano...
